Brigitta has been an independent public relations consultant for over 20 years, she has a strong understanding of the founding principles and what it takes to get companies in the spotlight. Brigitta is results oriented and when she sees an opportunity she won’t let it pass, until her client’s name is in ink.
Prior to establishing Shore Communications, she has held Marketing & Communications Director positions for The Eyes Multimedia Productions and Blue World Information Technology. At The Eyes, she launched their new broadcast division to major film and TV production companies such as Warner Brothers and FOX, and managed a diverse clientele including BC Gas, Clearly Canadian, MacMillan Bloedel and Norsat. When the Eyes was bought out by Vidatron, she managed a multi million dollar marketing budgeting for their four divisions.
Brigitta is also very involved in her community. She was the Chair of the Lions Bay Events Committee for 4 years where she tripled the volunteers and quadrupled the budget, making for more exciting events. Her drive and enthusiasm resulted in her being awarded the prestigious Citizen of the Year award. In 2010 she was the Chair for the Olympic Torch Relay event in Lions Bay which resulted in her receiving the Citizen of Distinction award. Brigitta was also a founding member of New Media BC and was an active representative for the new media industry at the 1997 APEC Conference.
Brigitta is an honours graduate of the BC Institute of Technologies Marketing Program and the Retail Management Program from Capilano University where she received a scholarship for academics.
